PREMIERSHIP TIGER TO SHUN RIVALS

Three rival clubs lined up to lure away Richmond’s big-bodied midfielder Jack Graham, but the 22-year-old isn’t ready to leave the Tigers.

Graham was reportedly looking at linking up with Carlton, with the star “giving serious consideration” to becoming a Blue, according to SEN’s Sam Edmund.

Adelaide and Essendon were also linked to the out of contract star who played in the 2017 Grand Final victory, but missed out in 2019 due to a shoulder injury.

Despite the offers and rivals chasing his services, Graham is set to put pen to paper on a brand new four-year deal to stick with the Tigers.

SAINTS STAR’S ‘UNCLEAR FUTURE’

St Kilda defender Jake Carlisle could be on the hunt for a new home in 2021 with the club not yet putting a contract offer on the table.

Carlisle played a key role in helping the Saints climb the ladder in 2020 with his tireless work down back, but the 28-year-old may find himself at his third club after the end of the season.

He arrived at the Saints with significant fanfare after the club threw the No. 5 pick at the Bombers to unlock a 2015 trade.

However, any potential move this trade period would likely come much cheaper.

“Really unclear future. He’s in his fifth season at the Saints, obviously formerly at the Bombers, a key backman in and out of that side,” AFL Media’s Liam Twomey said on Footy Feed.

“Hasn’t got a contract offer for next year, hasn’t got many discussions up and going for next year, so really interested to see if he ends up at a third club.

“He’s a player that can play straight away, at halfback or centre half-back, there’s a role there for him but I’m not sure it’s gonna be at the Saints.”

Carlisle arrived in St Kilda in 2015.

DOCKERS CULL FOUR FROM THE LIST

Fremantle finished the season with a flurry, winning two of their final three games as they showed signs of a promising future.

On Friday they joined a host of other non-finals playing teams in cutting down their list size with the announcement of four delistings.

Brandon Matera, Hugh Dixon, Tom North and Jarvis Pina were all notified they would not be offered contracts for the 20201 season.

Matera was traded to the Dockers ahead of the 2018 season where he went on to play in 43 games, kicking 46 goals in his time in purple.

North spent three seasons on the Dockers’ list but failed to make his debut, Pina was only selected in the 2019 rookie draft but also failed to make his debut this season.

Dixon was drafted in 2017 and only managed one senior game over three seasons.
